Wartecher to Acrofighter?

I've been considering switching out of Wartecher in AoI. Wartcher is great for soloing and playing in small groups, but I've found that I'm playing in games of 6 ppl groups where there's usually a techer with greater supporting ability ( and now with AT and GT surpassing WT support wise, this'll happen even more )

I can play Fortefighter, and as a beast it may be the best bet for me, but I'm in love with my Deva Zashi... but I hate playing Figunner so I'm not going there...

How does Acrofighter play? It's main focuses are single handed melee weapons and pure weapon speed right? Also... the lvl 30 cards are ridiculously sexy sounding.

For those who play Acrofighter, do you have anything top note about:

-the speed boost
-stats in comparison to Fortefighter
-the wmelee weapons available ( enough / not enough )
-the usage of Cards
-the usage of Shadoogs
-the usage of dual pistols.

I'm just considering the possibility. If Wartecher is becoming a melee/attack tech hybrid, I will most likely not like it as much =/

Though, I'm leveling Foie, Gizonde, Regrant, Ramegid, Gibarta and Diga in the meantime incase I end up staying WT

I don't blame you thinking of switching for the expansion. Acrotecher seems like a great class with excellent support, attach (techs) and good with melee.

Get a skill/save unit...then you will basically have fortefighter stats, the weapon selection you want, a speed boost in you normal attacks, and access to a few great ranged weapons that fF can only dream of.

oh, did I mention traps? Yeah, that too.

AF has top notch ATA as well, making life easier for you beast.

Looks like it would be a fairly smooth transition from WT to AF.

The Beasts who don't use damage techs, the Casts who don't use damage techs, the Newmans who want their tech damage to be on-par with their melee damage, the humans who are attracted to the 5% bonus they get on the Acro-classes, and everyone else who wants support that can actually be useful to the party or even more damage…

My old WT is going AF too. My Cast was my WT for a looong time, but I got tired of not having enough ATP to equip the claws I wanted so much, so I went FighGunner.

Loved playing with claw/machine gun,so I went GunTech for a while to mess with machine gun,played with cards for abit, and went back to WT to play Claw/Card.

Then info about AoI came out and I instantly knew she was going AF, how can I have my favorite character, not using my favorite weapon ever,the Slicer? And it has access to Cards AND Claws also! Only way it could get better is if it had machine gun access.

... Fem Beasts have the 5th highest TP behind Male Humans. And much better Defencive stats than Newmans so they can run up and gi-tech everything without much worry. This doesn't mean they're great at teching, but not extreely awful.
