FRAPS is quite good. But it's not free. There is a free trial with restricted functionality though.

You can also download a cracked fraps, which is free,but also illegal. :

Just moved XD. But anyway, yeah fraps is nie but i have the same question on this topic. there isnt any freeware around there?
