Street Fighter 4
Development has just begun and the release of the game is more than a year away. No platforms are yet confirmed - a highly stylised animated concept trailer of Ryu and Ken fighting was shown, but no game footage.

Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice
A new character and new series starring a rookie lawyer. Phoenix Wright makes an appearance but is not the lead character. Made specifically for DS.

Lost Planet (PS3)
Avaialable early next year and will include all bonus characters from the PC version and extra downloadable content from the 360 version making it the complete package. Made possible with Blu-ray. 16 player online over the PSN.

Dark Void
A new sci-fi action-adventure IP. Trailer showed third-person and air-vehicle gameplay with a character wearing a steam punk jetpack, skydiving and landing in the cockpit of a gyroscopic aircraft, and then jumping and climbing through airbase fortesses.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD (Xbox Live Arcade)
The game will feature a spectator mode and is scheduled for a 2008 while the team try and get zero lag for the online mode. Also features stat tracking and widescreen. Original music from Street Fighter 2 will be used, plus remixed versions of all those tunes.

Wii Love Golf
From the Everybody's Golf team comes a cutesy golf sim, that looks slightly more technical than the PlayStation versions. Players can fade or draw the ball by twisting the Wii-mote when taking a swing.

I figured Capcom was just going to possibly give us maybe a VS. series collection, then SF may have been just a classic legend, and never here of this series again. 3 caught on later. I know I overlooked it and all the intricacies the first time around. Or maybe it got lost in the shuffle of all my other DC games and I just didn't put in the time.

Major roster changes in 3 (some without stories at all) and people wanted more classic characters in. Agree in any sort of Timeline Ryu and Ken should be pretty ancient. But that means the poor old guys like Gen are long gone.

Gotta find that happy medium, and give their giant robot anonymous enigma characters stories/backstories/something to explain why they're there.

I'd really rather see a sequel to Marvel vs Capcom 2, then a lone Street Fighter sequel.

I enjoyed Super/Turbo/Mega/Extreme Hits/Omega Street Fighter 2 Arcade/Genesis/SNES/Dreamcast/XBox/XBox 360/PS2 etc as much as the next guy, but Marvel vs Capcom is really my fix for 2D fighters.

There have been a lot of people wanting Street Fighter IV to come out for a WHILE now. The same could be said about Guilty Gear XXX (or X3). My post was just pointing out, "Well, now that Capcom has finally decided to make Street Fighter IV, maybe Arc will finally get around to making an actual sequel to X2, instead of all these rehashes".

Anyway, it was relevant.

3rd Strike was the Best street Fighter to date. In fact, its the best 2d fighter hands down. The only game which could rival it is Capcom versus SNK. The First one, the best one.

Im hoping this is the "Street Fight Alpha 3" of the regular Street Fighter series. Throw all the guys from 2, all the guys from 3, and a bunch more in.

Anyway, I'm not that big a fan of Street Fighter, but I guess it's a pretty big deal that they're finally making another one that isn't a remake.
