Anime on Tech TV

I never get enough of anime and tech tv, but now both have been combined! Every night Mon-Fri at 1:00am they play ANIME. Last night was "Crest of the Stars" and i think another episode is on tonite. Ohh, I saw some of that last night and laughed my HEAD off. Looks like another anime with the worst voice acting IMAGINABLE that tries to take itself way, way, WAY too seriously, a la Gundam. It's a VERY good thing they have Lain in that lineup though. Even if all the other shows suck badly, there's always Lain which is a fantastic series. From what I've heard, the voice acting isn't too bad and there isn't all that much dialogue in the first place. I like TechTV, and I hope Anime Unleashed turns out to be good. (And that I actually get to watch it some.)

The Crest of the Stars anime is actually good... subtitled.

Dubs are always a mixed bag. Even in the rare event that they are done decently, the sub is usually better. Besides, I'm a big fan of the 'original language' argument. There are a few exceptions though, such as Shinesman, where apparently the dub didn't take itself seriously, so while still no match for the amazing original language version, it's supposedly a good watch on its own. Hmm... considering I have the DVD, I should probably check that out someday... ah well. *grin*

Im not into anime like crest of the stars. I like GTO and Cowboy bebop. Those two right are right up my ally .
I watched like 10 min of it but then I got tired and fell asleep.

haha, my friend kratos and I noticed that anime crest of stars. They scary part is that main character girl Layef? or something is a genetic hybrid of a cat. her jeans are half human half cat.

I would love to see it, I used to watch Tech Tv all the time but... April of 2002 my cable provider got rid of tech tv for a sports channel....Tech TV was great...

Crest of the stars is heating up. First 3 episodes were background info, and character introductions. But now its nutz.
