They're still up. It was only 5.6, doesn't seem like much damage occurred either.

I dont know why almost 80% of IT is located in friggin California. When the big one really does hit, it's going to cost our economy TRILLIONS of dollars.

I live in San Jose, I felt the earthquake while playing psu. Got purdy scurred it felt like it lasted a couple of minutes. My mom, and lil sis screamin and my dad trying to calm everyone down while things are shaking...Luckily nothing broken/no one hurt or anything like that.

Oh, and I was still able to finish my run on neu A rank. =P

Lots of CA people, I see. I'm in South San Jose, about 15 minutes from Alum Rock, the supposed epicenter. I got bounced around a bit, but no real damage or aftershock. Seems like my friends in Oakland and SF didn't receive too much damage 'cept for a few broken plates. Hoping everyone's safe everywhere :<

I live in Kentucky and we're supposedly about to get nailed with some huge earthquake too. New Madrid Fault or something.

There's also that supervolcano under Yellowstone.

California? Pshh, we're ALL boned.

I miss living in CA. it was always a nice surprise to wake to find things that i had put on shelves lying on the floor the next morning.

Live here in SJ as well - was a pretty good shaker... sounded at first like someone ran into our house!

I felt the earthquake, it was actually pretty exciting since it was the first I had ever felt. Truly a unique experience.
