Hi.

Just wondering if I get PSO 1 and 2 for XBox, can I go online on my 360, and if so, do I have to buy some license(or however you spell it) to play online and if I have to, how?

Hi.

Only works on the original xbox. Isn't compatible with the xbox 360.

The population on the Xbox servers is probably around -1.

Sega's excuse for that was. "PSO episode 1 and 2 is no longer supported by us, we only support PSO1&2+." What a load of bull, PSO+ was released exactly one month after PSOX and was made so GC can get the same game data as xbox already had because the gamecube had no HD and needed a new disk.
/end ancient rant

Sorry but I can never forgive sega for their poor treatment. MS just uploads content, Sega never sent it, they just dropped us.

Uh... PSO Ep I & II for the NGC already had all the Tower/SotH information on it for the most part. There was some small file you needed to download, basically a script, but otherwise all the data was already there. It just wasn't available to play offline is all, and it has never been made available offline for the Xbox version. I don't recall there ever being any download quests for the 360 version... except perhaps Central Dome Fire Swirl, which I'm not sure if it was added into Ep I & II for the NGC. Never really cared, honestly, because I already have it still downloaded for the Dreamcast.

I was on there under a month ago during the morning times (and also late at night). At the very least, there were 0 people on. Not a single soul on the old noob server hackatite.
