anyhow.. I just want to pratice with drawing male characters, cause latley I've only drawn sexy ladies (and scray ones) >_> I still have alot to learn when it comes to drawing males, so please give alot of critique!

If you want your character drawn, give me alot of screenshots like the ones above, one with the pose you want your character in, and discribe the personality. I will choose characters randomly, and if I like the sketch, I will color the whole pic in my usual coloring style (see my Del Sabrina pic).

I was thinking the exact same thing.. and it's the eyes.. I am also thinking about bending the arm a little, cause it looks to stiff right now.

Alterations are...

If it ends up getting into color for some reason, Shin's eyes are heterochromatic. One eye is green, one is blue.
He's also got quite a few scars. But that won't come into play here, as...
For the love of God, he's wearing a shirt. At least a loose T-shirt, heh.
He also has very slightly pointed ears. 1/4th newman blood.

As for pose... I suppose for Shin, most appropriate would be with the sword slung over his shoulder in some sort of confident/arrogant pose.

Fantastic, save for the body having more height than I normally imagine, it's perfect. I love the "Come and get me" thing with the hand, that's absolutely his character, heh.

The arms are actually quite good, they simply look a bit disproportioned against the larger upper body. Generally I figure Shin's only got a six-pack.

But I can't do that, by any means, so nicely done, and well done.

Right now busy with the background.. only done the shading.. and I am already amazing myself.. this is the first time a background is starting to look actually good. How I did it? a trick I saw some weeks agoon a webpage. Just use flat colors as a base, and then use a multiply layer above it with only greytones to create the shadows and details. I have to say it works damned good! I think the next pic I will color will be completly this way.

Of course the background isn't finished.. Still have to do lighting and effects, and eventually blend Shins character into the background.

The reason why Shin is shiny, is because he's on that Neudaiz mission where the sun is setting (have no idea what the name of it was). But I haven't added the sun yet.

If this is the pose you want, then I will try to start the sketching tomorrow. I just finished Noxia's sketch (and it's already 4.19 AM here -___-zzZZZz).
The background is the last thing I draw, so you got plenty of time to think about that.

The eyes will be drawn in the way I like it.. and I don't like the small CAST pupils, they look like they are staring you to death. The eyes are also far from done, eye detail is most of the time one of the last things I add. If you have any close up screens of the eyes, that would be great!

Update! well.. Damon is just a lucky bastard! I have to say that your coloring skill an detail are pretty good!
But I suggest that you try working on your anatomy. Mainly your muscle structure on your arms and chest is out of control. I don't know if you wanted to have any critiques but I do know its six pack abs not an 8 or 10 or whatever your doing there. Hmm.. actually I think it may just be that you have the upper torso to long although I'm not that sure I'm not that good at drawing men either. Heh thanks, critique is good! cause that was the whole point of startig this topic in the first place: the learn myself to draw male characters!

The abs look like an 8 pack.. thats because the lower thing are actually not part of the 6 pack.. it also looks weird because at some places the clothes cover the lines...
For the muscle things I used pictures of real body builders, to see where all the muscles go.

and.. I am not even close to using 15% of Photoshop.. I think more something like 0,1%.. to be precise: Brush tool, wand tool, selection modification, Eraser, Color picker and the layer blending tools.. thats all I need to do the coloring http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif.

I see most of the pictures drawn here have been reviewed (so I'm not commenting on a single picture.) I'd lay off coloring and focus more on getting line art done right. As Jared said, your coloring and shading is fine. Don't worry about the CG process. Get the basics/details down.

Jared also mentioned anatomy. I wouldn't worry a lot about drawing really detailed muscles at this point. Work on proportions first then work on the finer details.

I also feel a bit bad when I don't deliver a finished work when someone does a request >_> I think I will do my next request with multiple sketches, the best one will be picked and colored..

Atleast the anatomy should be right.. because I used a screenshot from a video with a very sexy lady for the pose >_>

The (for us) left breasts and shoulder.. yeah.. dunno.. I tried to stick to the model that was on the screen I used for the pose.

The shading on the clothing folds is most of the time soooooo random, have to admitt that.

About the light sources, there is techniquely only one (top-left-ish). That right light bulb in the eye is just to make it look less empty.. and the windows on the back was added for the same reason.
Sometimes I sacrifice realism, to make the overal presentation of the pic look better.
