GC: How do I combine items??

Okay I was searching for over 50+ hours and finally found a SPIRIT GARMENT and I saved up enough PHOTON DROPS to get a MAGIC ROCK: HEART KEY how do I combine them together to get a LOVE HEART??

Does the SPIRIT GARMENT need to be fully slotted? or do I need to be level 131 first (I'm currently level 111)?

Im guessing you have to have the item equipped, and then you use your wussy magic rock.

Thanks for the response... I've combined AMPLIFIERS and BARRIERS before so I figure it would work the same way. However when I equiped it and tried to use the rock it only gave 2 options DROP and SORT. There was no USE option avaliable.

Is it because I'm too low level? Oh and another question is that if I put 4 SLOTS into the armor before I combine it will the SLOTS stay the same?

No clue. If it's a magic rock that I cant smoke in some form or another, Im not really interested, sorry ._.
