What's with the stupid automatic password system?

do we really need security like that on a site like this? (with the exception of mods and admins) I mean seriously, my pass right now is nothing more that a random bunch of letters and it's downright stupid...

The randomly generated password is basically just for confirming that people signed up with a valid email address (since the password is mailed to it). After the first login, you can change it to whatever you want.

You can change your password in your account settings (http://www.pso-world.com/user.php?op=edituser). The password is just temporary after setting up a new account. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
