I was wondering, if I finished Challenge 9 and received an A rank (and whatever prize that gives), could I still improve my time and get an S-Rank? (and whatever prize that gives?)Or do you just get one final rank and that's it?

Yep. Works the other direction, too. If I get s-rank after stage 9, I do stage 1 two more times to get A and B rank prizes.

Yes, if you redo a challenge and complete it after having achieved a highrank, you will get the lesser rank prize.
