"Patch not loading" fix in AOI PC

Ok,this fix is for people who can log into AOI, but once the patching screen comes up, the game crashes.

Go into options, set the game to "window mode." Put the window in the lowest resolution possible, and set the graphics to "Low." Also, don't save your user name and password.

The game should download the patch if you do this (it did for me at least). Once the patch is done downloading, hit enter, and change your options to how ever you like.

edit: I am also running vista, so if this is a continuing issue for vista users, please follow the directions listed above and the game will patch itself, and you can play as normal.

I can't believe it actually worked. I'm on XP so it's not exclusive to Vista users
