Amazon's Kindle

Has anyone heard much about this device? It looks interesting and useful.

I think I'm waiting for version 2.0. In the current version free wireless Wikipedia, abilty to get magazine subscriptions, and the ability to get updated blogs as well make this seem very promising to me.

Has anyone ordered one, or have one already?

But I suppose I'll have to wait anyways, which is probably good since you say there's a ver.2 coming soon.

I imagine version 2.0 will be a few years (Amazon said colour eInk will be 2-3 years, which is one thing I'm waiting for). Maybe next year. Right now I don' t have the time or the dinero to make such a purchase. :/
