Merge Question

Does using a Ra- Merge increase the duration of the status effect (freeze or shock) on an enemy? Also, do they increase the blast radius of the technique? Or do they just increase damage?

Status effects should remain the same... I know that the damage increases for sure though. As far as range goes I'm not sure... I know that Support merges increase range but I'm not too sure about this.

Yeah, I was testing out my Rabarta Merge earlier today. I'm pretty sure the status effects are the same regardless of the merge, but I just wanted to check. And I think range isn't affected either (would be pretty sweet though).

Support Merges increase both range and effectivenes, correct?

Well, based on the data in the guides, support merges only increase range. Resta won't get stronger, and Shifta/Deband won't last longer than they already do.

Yeah, I've already looked at those. After reading them, I assumed that no other bonus other than increased damage (or range in the case of Support Merges) were granted. I just wanted to make sure so I wouldn't have to change strategy.

Using a Resta Merge gives you really cool looking sparklies when you cast Resta, too. XD
