i dunno, ya think the regular GBA/GCN link cable will fit?

Ooo. I want one of those.

As for the link cable, that's difficult to say considering they don't show every angle of the unit. Unless it has an edge designed to fit the connection on the GBA/GC link cable there will have to be a new cable made (or modifications made to the old one - at your own risk). Ten to one odds, since most of the money is made in peripherals, I'd say they'll make the current GBA/GC link cable incompatable. But that's just an assumption, don't quote me on it.

...

I thought the mini-games were like, oh, I don't know, the photon whip. I guess I was wrong though.

It seems you can connect 5 to 6... >_>;;;

EDIT
Uhm no, the pictures' descriptions say 5 is "head phone plug" >_>;;; while 6 is AC ADAPTER.

headphone adapter... this is a bit cheap... having to use this kinda heavy looking thingy when you dont want to hear for yourself only...
and this thingy will cost 20 $ more than a gba costs now? well... cant be helped i guess...
would be interesting to know in how much the battery consumtion goes down in hours with the background-light on ^_^;

i'd say for good batteries (for cd-players, not those cheap ones that you get in supermarkets discounts), they last around 15, 20 hours...
but with this news in mind i'd wait, if i were you ^_^;

Back to the original question... I spotted a picture that shows the top end of the unit and it is designed (more-or-less) similarly to the standard GBA unit. The current GBA/GC link cable will work with this unit.

Look for information. It's everywhere. It's the new look of the gameboy advance. Just a face lift, nothing shabby. Except for the addition of lighting.
