Actually, if you take a look at the Nintendo Europe site, under "Sneak Previews 2003", they clearly state that the hardware release, that is, the BBA and Modem, are released concurrently with Phantasy Star on March 07, which is good news for those who were waiting for it.

Was there any mention as to if there was a hunter licence or not? ^_^;;

*remembers EU v2 had no licence, so...* o_O

So far, Europe has managed to escape the Hunter's License... perhaps because they take in to account the fact that phone calls here are more expensive than in the US and even Japan, though this is changing. It's anyone's guess really... bearing in mind that increasing numbers are opting for BBA access and yet are still charged a license fee (in JP and the US, where BBA use is highest), then they may still opt for some kind of pricing scheme over this side of the Universe. We are at their mercy http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

The EU version of PSO ver2 only escaped the HL fee because Dreamcast online gaming was free, except for the conection charges, they couldnt charge,as it would be against the trade descriptions act.
However with the gamecube version of PSO, no such free online gaming clause exists, expect charges.

nice to have something to kill some time...

my guess: no HL for pal-GCN-pso since the for-x-box-version-waiters also think they wont have to pay any HL because it isnt announced yet...

@redfox
but you still have your time-advantage for metroid prime and biohazard 0, dont you?
when you have to pay HL and i dont, i'll laugh at you, if this helps, ok? ^-^;;;
