FAQ

What is a No Charge/AFK Party?
A No Charge party, or AFK party, is a party where the leader either completes the mission solo or with a small group of players while the rest of the party is AFK in the lobby.

What is the benefit of joining a No Charge/AFK Party?
The players that join the group and go AFK in the lobby get all the appliciable mission rewards while being AFK. The list of rewards include: Mission Points, Meseta (from mission completion), and PA Frags (if appliciable).
The leader gains the benefit of getting all the rares that s/he would if they were soloing but also gets increased Meseta for each additional member in the party.

What is there for me to do in a No Charge/AFK Party?
You could do anything want, short of joining in the mission. Joining in on a No Charge/AFK Party mission defeats the purpose of the party since the leader is now (possibly) sharing meseta and rares with party members. Some activities you may be interested could be talking with the leader/other party members/players in lobby, betting in the Casino, looking at different clothing options or makeovers, or even go AFK and do something else like play another game or watch TV. You cannot go to your room since that would make you leave the party.

Do I need to check-up on my character every so often?
It's always a good idea to keep an eye on your character every 10-20 minutes to make sure everything is fine and that the party didn't disband or you got stuck with the leader due to a disconnect or error on the part of the leader. However, you do not have to be present to check the mission report, it will stack and you will get the rewards even if you never check it. It is a good idea to check your job level every so often too if you are leveling up a new job, or check your PA Frags and make use of the "Delivery" system offered by NPCs if you find yourself overflowing with a stack of 99 PA Frags.

Could I change my job during a mission?
No, all job changes need to be done before a mission starts. You could leave the No Charge/AFK Party and switch your job quickly and rejoin, or wait for the mission to end (or if the mission just started ask for a quick abort) and let the leader know that you are going to change jobs real quickly.
