I tried looking things from PSU up in my newly acquired japanese dictionary.turns out the vast,vast majority of things in this game are complete figments of peoples imaginations.very convincing and good nonetheless,but people like myself and you obviusoly are interestd in such things.I did come up with....

kaze=wind,maybe for kazarod,kaza-kikami
fuka=shark ...search me for how that applies to icy twin claws,but whatever.

thats all I can come up with off the top of my head right now and I really dont have the patience to sit and really look everything up,but there isnt much that is real japanese,unfortunately.still some nice weapon names though.some real competitors to the PSO classics.the reigning champ of weapon names is still the meteor cudgel.what sounds like it can kick more ass than that?

Buten Shuren-zan: quick spinning dance attack of mass murder
Hikai Shuha-zan: flying kick of destruction and murder
Shunbu Shouren-zan: quick dancing leap attack of mass murder
Bukuu Rensen-ga: multi-hit sky dance claw attack
Rensan Senshou-ga: multi-hit hidden surprise claw attack
Renzan Seidan-ga: multi-hit star shot claw attack
Hishou Jinren-zan: multi-hit flying blade attack
Moubu Seiran-zan: energetic and threatening dance-like multi-hit attack
Renkai Buyou-zan: multi-hit spinning dance attack

These definitions come from the Japanese photon art descriptions. The only one I couldn't find out was Chikki Kyoren-jin since its description doesn't include the PA's name in kanji like the others. It only says something to the effect of being able to fatally wound enemies with destructive power brought forth by the reactor's output being pushed to its limit.

Something to keep in mind; whenever you see ren-zan, it literally translates as "mass murder," though I did change up a few times ("multi-hit attack," for example) to sound not so monotonous.

Many if not all of Yohmei & Neudais names are Romanized names, or in Romanji. They are translatable in some way.

FYI, Fuka doesn't necessarily mean shark, I guess it depends on the kanji or hiragana or whatever they're using for Japanese weapons. The only reason I know that Fuka means anything else is thanks to the Yotsuba manga, LOL! "Fuka meaning "wind-summer"; in Yotsuba&!, it is Fuka meaning "wind-scent"

Renga Chuujin-shou: multi-hit flying dagger attack
Chuuei Jitotsu-shin: air-swimming, earth-piercing attack
Bukuu Saien-zan: crushing circular sky dance attack
Choutou Kantsu-jin: This one doesn't have its name in kanji in the description. Only states that it's a quick step attack then sends slicer blades flying at multiple enemies from the left and right, not giving the enemy any time to retaliate.

kazagurima is a word for pinwheel which Kazarodou definately is. Kazakikami would be the blades on a pinwheel.

For the heck of it, for the other S grade cards (because they're easy)...
Hoshikikami - hoshi is star.
Shikikami - A play on the word "shikigami" which are essentially paper dolls.
