AotI-XBox 360: 2000+ S+10 Grinders???

there is a player who just last night (12-16-07) put out 2000+ S+10 grinders for 30k-40k each

I thought it was strang that he had so many.......

I bought my fare share and some of someone elses share but I still find it very strange for him to have so many......

He said he had them left over from the 1-up cup....

Heh. I remember a friend of mine talking about the MASSIVE drop in prices...

I sold a bunch of S+10's for 200k a piece and he snagged a bunch for 40k and that there were TONS more for cheap. Sounds like this guy evened out the market a little bit. It's nice considering that grinders aren't guaranteed and 200k is a LOT to fail with.

Well left over from the 1up cup would be b.s. As the grinder board wasn't out yet. Admittedly S+10 haven't been that hard to make I've made about 30 from 160 or so Grinder Base S'. Though 2000 of them would be sort of ridiculous seeing as with my luck he would have needed over 10k of them (10666 to be exact. it also would have taken 64 mil meseta just to grind all of those. Though even at 40k per they would stand to make 80 mil.

I had 20 Grinder Base S in storage when the board came out. 10 of the those bases turned into Grinder S+10.

An exploit is an exploit. Glitches can have just as big of an impact as hacks can. Something shouldn't be taken lighter, simply because it's a different method of exploitation.

i don't think thats the case. I tried that on PC/PS2 servers but it wouldn't work. It would only make +1 to +5 and it would go into the waiting to be taken out synth area and would keep making only +1/+5s and keeping going back in unless I had space to take it out. I wouldn't be surprised though if that was a patch pc/ps2 got but 360 never got. Much like the death penalty update.

Just watched a video from Zael on YouTube where he did this exact method. The video was over a year old, and im not certain which version of PSU he was running, so its likely that this method has been removed...also, it ran for 9+ min(w/o a success I could see) and was exceedingly tedious. I would almost applaude anyone with the patience to sit around and do this...cuz i would wanna shoot myself in tha face.

Well i wasn't going to say anything since it involved a few friends of mine, but there's two ways they're making these grinders....one is the glitch everyone knows about and i believe sega corrected. And the second way is just the duplication of grinders.....yes, i said duplication.

Anyone on the 360 servers check out "That Dude" 's room he's got a gatcha filled with S+10's....He and a few of his friends have had the market cornered on S +10's for a while and have kept them at 85k a pop. Now some other people got a hold of the dup method and are driving the market down....

What people tend to forget when they look at things like this, is that the PC/ps2 community are different from the 360. When i say different, its helpful to understand it objectively. Because you need a decent computer to run PSU and any other PC game, think about the money put into tweaking your computer's hardware and buying new stuff. If you spend that kind of money on a computer wouldn't you be more apt to play games of a more graphical or involving nature? I know if i spent two thousand dollars on my computer i wouldn't play psu on it, i'd play UT III or something with the money spent on hardware.

And the reason i say this is this extra step in the PC process weeds out those who have good computers AND those who like the game enough to play it. On the 360 you don't have that step everyone is at the same processing level.

I didn't mean to derail the topic and/or create more classic flame bait. So back on topic, If anyone remembers the old duping method from PSO, the method of duping in PSU is similar, it involves manually creating lag by either reducing your MTU via your wireless router or simply pulling the USB cord for a brief second. Now i was never told how to do this step by step but this is from what i gathered as the people duping them have ego's the size of texes and can't help but let stuff slip. When/if i find out exactly how to replicate the process i'll be sending sega a notice....

And maybe they'll even fix it...right after they fix the mech guns, and the photon gatchas.....ugh...

You know maybe this whole s+10 duping wouldnt have gotten so huge if there was a better S rank grinding success rate. Its just like any other game, you just want the best possible chance/advantage.
And Im thinking this is driving this whole s+10 thing more than the other grinders, that demand for best possible success on something so difficult.

possibly a standby button while synthing could override the patch due to the lag you recieve and give you the S+10. But I would advise people on the 360 to NOT try this...I don't think Sega would punish you but Microsoft since the standby button is evil to all online gaming
