The second best PSU information site, the one that had all the stuff this site doesn't, including how to determine if a map is rare, PA and class percentages, and tons of other use and in valuable info is GONE!! D=
Now there is one of those generic search pages in it's place. This pisses me off to no end. We as the PSU community need to band together and replace all of the information that has bee lost to us here on the secure PSOworld. Please join me in making this dream a reality.
Thank you, and happy hunting.

once the kids that ran the place get the money from mowing lawns and pay for their DNS again they should be back up and running.

At least PSUPedia didn't get their DNS snatched up by a porn site.

That was really embarrasing when it happened to my personal domain. It had to happen on Halloween of all days, too.

How big a difficulty is $8 a year for a domain name? Hell, I'll pay it for them just to get the rare spawn charts back up.

Yeah, it'll be back once Dream_XG renews the domain. For now, just enjoy the debt consolidation services and travel offers.

You see, the guy who does the hosting (and therefore owns the domain, he also runs PSUTopia) does not actually use PSUPedia, nor do I even think he has played PSU in half a year, so it's a bit more difficult to get in contact with him.

Besides, I think .info domains are only like $2.99.

I thought so http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif, I know psupedia has been getting better as of late, but at times it was a huge pain to navigate through.

I know people have been putting alot of effort into it; but this situation is sounding like my old FFXI Linkshell site where the host who was no longer playing the game didn't really see the point to fix the site any longer when it went down or needed to be upgraded and one day we all attempted to log in and got a message "Sorry but I've decided to take down the site."

Anyway, I hear tell from Mewn that the domain has actually already been renewed, but due to some DNS renewing bullshit and technobabble stuff, like 90% of the people still can't get on for some reason.

That said, it ought to be accessible again soon. Probably.

DNS propagation generally can take from 48 to 72 hours, so it should be back up before the end of the week. I really hope so, because we've got a lot of updating to do with all of the new info that's come from MAG. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

You know, I've been noticing how much the community seems to rely on the site since it went down this week. Funny, especially considering how many people always complained about "what a terrible site it is" and all that.

Glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this.

We actually had a local library in my area lose their domain name to a porn site with them recreating their web adress on an angelfire account because the porn site won't relinquish it.

Well, we don't seem to be offering trips to Hawaii, used cars or dating services anymore. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I mean, pea soup is back up! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
