I say go for it. If you're considering making it, you might as well find all of the parts you need to make in case u end up wanting to.

side comment: dr. montague is the one you want to talk to about enemy parts. you have to beat certian quest though.

The Quest is Dr. Osto's Research, and I'm pretty sure you don't need to beat it...just approach him with the parts in your inventory.

I think Unsealed door will work as well.
