I've had every major console since the NES at one point or another. I usually end up giving away my old consoles, only to regret it later. :/

I plan on getting a Wii eventually but it'll take a miracle for the PS3.

NES (well, HAD that. It blew up literally smoke and all and haven't found a replacement yet)
SNES (bought it used from a rental store. Yes, it still works perfectly. Fucking thing is like a tank to have survived that and then still work today)
N64 (still works great)
GCN x2 (both work but the black one, a launch model, is a bit finicky hence I got the silver one to use as the main one)
Wii (hopefully I'll start using it more now that I have more games to play)
GBC (teal, still works just fine)
GBA x2 (I have no idea why I have two, but I do)
DS (launch model, still works beautifully)

Genesis (3rd generation. Still works just fine)
DC (bought it new for $75 just after they stopped production. Still works)

Xbox (again, works fine)

PSOne (It's alright but never used)
PS2 (I should've waited for the price cuts and learned that lesson the hard way. Still works and still has the duct tape glue on it from when I secured it in the car for a long trip)

While I technically have enough to finally buy a 360 I think I'll hold off and get something else as most of the games on 360 I would want to play are out on PC.

My wife always wanted one of those things, and since I knew how the controls for most of the games where, I was pretty sure shed get tired pretty fast. We own a good majority of the best games out for Wii and the thing is still in its box right now. My guess would be that everyone wants a cheap next gen console, they just cant stop breaking their tvs with this one XD and honestly when you come home from work,I dont want to be waving my hands in the air like a maniac.Thats just me though O_o...

I rocked on a gameboy pocket (in a recliner) and cracked the screen. Later I rocked on my copy of F-Zero 64. Broke that too.

Then I bought a new recliner where things I set in it wouldn't fall through between the seat and armrests to the underside (right into the pivot point of doom). Come to think of it - I believe most of my gameboy cartridges were inside that chair somewhere when I trashed it. I haven't found them since.
