Weird thing that happened to me....

Something weird happened last night.

I was messing around in the casino and some other players were doing the strafe and making comments about walking funny. So I typed the following (keep in mind we were all messing around before you reply with a "grow up!" response):

"I'M WALKING LIKE THIS CAUSE I HAVE TO P00P..!!"

(I wrote poop with ZERO's "p00p")...and I IMMEDIATELY got disconnected as soon as I hit enter. I thought this was odd so tried it again and the SAME THING happened as soon as I hit ENTER (unfortunately, I had a silver coin bet on roulette which I lost once I got disconnected).

Any idea why this happened? If anything, I would have thought it would have given me the old "@#@$$^@!%#$@!" filter as opposed to disconnecting me?

Anyone else willing to try this and let me know if it happened to you as well? I'm curious to know if they've implemented some sort of disconnection mechanism to anyone who says anything in the filter....

I'd have a harder time believing Sega would have people get disconnected for trying to bypass the filter, but either way I'll give it a shot for you in a few.

Edit: Tried it with no problems. Saying p00p was censored, saying it in a sentence it wasn't censored. And what you had written in your first post was too long to fit in one chat bubble, so if you can tell me exactly what you typed I can give that a shot if you really want. Either way, no problems when I did it. (360)

Um... as much as it pains me to admit this... typing "I AM WALKING LIKE THIS CAUSE I HAVE TO P00P..." is actually getting me disconnected every time I press enter XD I tried saying "I'M WALKING LIKE THIS CAUSE I HAVE TO P00P!" and I didn't have a problem, but when I type exactly that, I do get disconnected. I've done it about 6 or 7 times now... o.O

Edit: Apparantly if I type "WALKING LIKE THIS CAUSE I HAVE TO P00P..." doesn't get me disconnected, but typing "AM WALKING LIKE THIS CAUSE I HAVE TO P00P..." does get me disconnected o.O

Edit: Okay, it seem if you type any 37 characters and then "P00P..." it gets you disconnected o.O I just did 37 I's followed by "P00P..." and it worked.

LOL sadly it is real....that's why I thought Sega implemented some sort of disconnection mechanism for those who swear (although didn't think 'p00p' was a "bad" word)...LOL

It seriously boots you back to the title screen and you have to re-log onto the game.

Ill try it this afternoon after work, my friend who types alot was complaining of getting disconnected alot yesterday. There must be a certain combonation in there that does it.
Sounds like another update bug, glad its not as bad as the debug mission.

Yeah... apparantly when you type "P00P..." with the 0's instead of O's, it censors the whole thing, even the "..." I have yet to find another swear that does that, so that could have something to do with it.

XD Indeed, that's something good to remember XP My guess is if you type 37+ characters, and then a swear word the censors the "..." along with the word, it does this. Seeing as "P00P..." is the only thing I can get this to work with.

actually i use that gltich to log off XD

for some reason if u type something really big thats supposed to be censored, the game somehow CANT fit in all the stupid symbols and it becomes too much for this cheap game and kicks u off -_-

It did the same to me, but it was censoring out the word "ridiculous" in a long sentence and booted me for it.
