So...you pretty much are talking about cartoons...just sitcom cartoons...just making that clear...

I'm numbering them, but that's not necessarily their order, as I like alot of things. These are just some I'm watching at the moment.

1) Arrested Development
2) The Simpsons (old episodes)
3) The Office (British, haven't seen any American yet)
4) Seinfeld
5) The Boondocks

Five of mine in no particular order...

King of the Hill
South Park
Married with Children (that's the Al Bundy show, and quoted in my sig)

...though I don't watch any of them regularly.

oh, was this sitcom only? substitute Veronica Mars for...um... Wondershowzen.. That's wholesome entertainment the entire family can enjoy. Or Robot Chicken. The K-dramas are hilarious enough to be considered sitcoms..

Making full use of the "Television series" alternative offered in the OP:

House, M.D.
Sex and the City
What Not to Wear

I'm officially a girl (but, in my defense, I have very few shoes).

wow... what not to wear happens to be one of my favorite shows as well. i cant believe i forgot to slip it into my list,i'm embarrassed.

and ive seen 2 episodes of sex in the city in my time. both i expected sex. and alot of city. i got neither. i got an episode where the beautiful brunette(the most attractive one on the show) got crabs from her fling, but there was no sex being shown on the television. and the episode took place on a beach, which i didnt mind all too much, but no city. and the main character was belittling people in their 20s... so of course i was nothing but offended by the entire episode, as well as its sexist nature, and i felt they tricked me by making a title that didnt represent the show well enough. NEVER AGAIN

3. ER ( up until Anthony Edwards left the show )
4. Beavis and Butthead
5. Saved By The Bell

Yes, these are old good times in TV, but I don't watch TV much anymore except maybe during football season. Too much garbage on nowaays.

I'm thoroughly convinced that the only reason anyone omitted Arrested Development from their list is because they haven't seen it from beginning to end, and they should do so as soon as possible. There were only 53 episodes, so it isn't a very big investment of your time. The episodes are actually funnier when you rewatch them because you catch a lot of stuff you missed the first (or second or third or fourth) time.
