This is for anyone that has the current issue of EGM. Now flip in the magazine till you find an ad for Everquest Online Adventures. If you look real closely at the pictures of people playing, take a close look at the controllers they are using. Correct me if I am wrong, but if you look at the picture of a woman holding a controller down a bit, it sure does look like a Gamecube controller. This is suppose to be a PS2 exclusive.

I wouldnt call that evidence of anything as most marketing consults know jack-shit about videogames.

Sony owns Everquest so I'm certain it will stay PS2 exclusive.

Ditto.

I saw this too, but if you look some more, some of them got PS2 controllers.

What page is it?

it spans page 28-29 and actually a few people are using gamecube controllers, the easiest one to pic out is the pic of the chick on the bottom right on page 29, the controller she is holding is no doubt a gamecube controller.

Maybe the photographer or the designer didn't know so much about videogames. >_>;;;

Advertisers do that all the time. I've seen a Future Shop commercial with kids holding Xbox controllers, yer Mario Sunshine is on the tv screen. And another with some guys holding PS2 controllers, yet Halo was on the screen.

Advertisers should at least know something about videogames before they make an ad. Just goes to show you, they'll hire anyone who says they know about videogames, yet they make commercials like that.
