Is the gameguard update server down or something?

I've been trying to play just the offline version of the PC version, and whenever I pick it it says "Failed to connect to gameguard server. Try again later, or adjust your settings if you are behind a firewall. I've tried reinstalling, theres no fire walls running at all, and I've restarted my computer twice. Is the gameguard update server down? Or the server as a whole?

Have you tried restarting your computer? I had the same thing happen to me and a restart fixed it. Seemed that something was wrong with MY end, not theirs.

If it doesn't, then maybe your firewall tried to have a mind of its own and cut off gameguard. If not that, then you may have to re-install. After that I wouldn't know what to do.

Crap. I've reinstalled, I've restarted 3 times now, I've shut off my firewalls, and I'm still getting this error. And this is only me, then? The server is up?
