I have been playing PSO for quite a while now, yet never bothered to figure this out.

When I look up an armor on this website, such as Aura Field (http://www.pso-world.com/items.php?op=viewarticle&artid=566&sortby=name) I notice it give the defense and Evasion status a range on influence. Now that I finally have Aura field I'm wondering, how does an armor "power up" Currently my Aura Field is only providing me with 1 DFP better then Brightness Circle (http://www.pso-world.com/items.php?op=viewarticle&artid=232&sortby=name). The stats, accoridng to this site, say Aura Field has the potential to provide 45 DFP more.

My questions are
1)Is it possible to increase the effectiveness of an armor/frame?
2)If it is possible how do you increae the effectiveness
3)Does the same apply to shields/barriers?

the aure field you have, is it home made or was it found?
aside from the question take notice dfp and evp of armors is an average numbers, sometimes more, sometimes less

Armor value I think is set to whatever it is in game.

Crafted armors always have base stats, found armors can be anywhere in the range. Only way to increase the effectiveness is to find a new one and replace it. Shields also follow the same rules.
