Unusual Item

Hello all.

Sorry to be a bother. This is my Fonewm, and he found something odd in Ultimate Mines.

I suspect it's a problem with my patch, but I thought I'd see what input I could get.

It was a green item labeled: ????

When selected, Drop/Sort are the only options

The identifier doesn't acknowledge it.

The selling price is 1 Meseta

I can post a picture if that isn't enough information.

Ah yes. Also

When putting into bank, it has the counter (x1) beside it

And mags can't eat it

I've never seen an item like that before. If on official servers, I'd say drop it and leave the game to be safe.

Yeah, that's pretty sound advice. I would not trust anything that said ???? unless it was a tekking weapon.

If it's not the official servers, and it's not offline, I'd contact whoever runs that server, myself. If that's the case, it might just be errant item data mucking around a hacked up database.

If it is official, I'd agree with Ketchup and Alex, getting rid of it would be the safest option. It could be the drop rate tweaks I've heard about for the official Blue Burst servers might have made some nonexistant items have positive drop rates, or something to that effect, so you get a drop of something the game has no idea about and it just assigns some default stats to it and says "Ionno."

Many thanks! I actually play on a private server, so I'll let them know asap.

I don't think the server mucks around with the items, so it might be a translation problem.
