The wife and I are looking for a co-op dungeon crawler (preferably offline or LAN) to play together because PSU just takes up too much time. Anyone have recommendations? We've already gone through D&D: Heroes, Baldur's Gate I & II, Champions of Norrath, and Return to Arms. Thanks in advance.

Thought about Kingdom Under fire? Its a great brainless hack and slash game in till you get to the last stage and start getting raped by archmages who trapped you in a corner spamming their flesh spear and comet majiks. =/

Legend of Mana is awesome. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

AWESOME!! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

you can even explore towns together and the artwork is some of
the most beautiful in history! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif the music is unbeatable, and
the gameplay is very friendly with tons of secrets and extra
challenging difficulties! and yes, dungeons all over.

Legend of Mana is awesome, but its kind of limited when you get down to trying to unlock newer stuff... Not to mention only player one will gain any abilities in both weapons they are using and the weapon player two is using.

Its old, but you could play some Kameo(though you have to pretty much beat the game in single player to do the missions in Co-op).

There is also actual DnD you can try... it doesn't require you to have an entire group, but it could be interesting for a game night!

ya but player 2 can still level up! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif oh ya the drawback is you
need two PS1 memory cards, since it won't let you load a 2nd character file that's on the same memory card for 2nd player, their
character has to be in a second memory card. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

but the good side is that if you have an NPC in
the party, player 2 can control them instead of
their own character.

but overall its fun and epic cause the story can branch out to different main plots, and its a fine balance of towns, dungeons,
exploration, combat, puzzles (mostly mazes), etc. and it's the
most wuvable atmosphere in a fantasy game ever! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

the only RPG that probably comes close in great fantasy world is
Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross (but Trigger has the advantage
cause the time zones could pass for really different worlds).

but combat and co-op wise and other stuff, Legend of Mana has them beat. ya, Secret of Mana had 3 player co-op but I dunno, I didn't like its level
design much and the story was much more linear.

ya one thing I was miffed about was that Legend of Mana was the pet system always taking up the 3rd slot
it woulda been more fun if you could have like
2 player characters AND an NPC, instead of just
2 people and a pet.

the pets were interesting, but I preferred the
Secret of Mana and Seiken 3 style of party system.

ya someone people are turned off by the side view
instead of top view, but that's actually an advantage
cause Legend of Mana offers some of the most beautiful viewpoints that you wouldn't notice if
you were just viewing the ground at a 3/4 perspective. and although you can mostly only attack
from 2 directions instead of 4, it still has a really
better attack system and being able to equip cool
abilities like Jump, Defend and Spin is really wuvable. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif
