Don't you love rare monsters?

I don't litterally.

I was on my quest for the holy grail which I call God/Battle in ultimate about an hour ago with my redria RAmarl. Playing through the Native Research quest for exp I went to take out the 2nd Hildelt and damn it drop a red box. I was happy and over joyed that it was a God/Battle but dammit no it was a damn little photon drop.

I wasn't happy. I was furious. To calm my anger: a bag of doritos, a refilled glasses of soda, and more playing. Now I did another run through Native Research again this time in Forest 1 where you meet the big pack of Gulgus/Gulgus-Gue and a Gulgus-Gue dropped me a red box. I popped up to the site just like a little girl with utter glee to see what I could get without spoiling the excitement and it could of been a God/Mind but dammit nope it was a stupid little photon drop. man I hate myself.

Other than that I had some good runs for exp and rares:
- Mahu

I have that same problem. I'm actively hunting a Red Dagger in the Ultimate Cave and every time a Crimson Assassin drops a red box I'm like "YES!" Then I run over to grab the red box and start cursing because it's just another fricken Photon Drop. Photon Drops shouldn't even be in red boxes, as they're certainly not rare items (yellow letters and a red box doesn't make an item rare). I do hate rare monsters, especially Hildetorr... I think that restraining order is still holding because I never see the bastard. ::Sniffle.:: Anyway... I do have a fetish for red boxes, though... a get all hot and stuff when I see it, so you know it's a big let down when it turns out to be a photon drop, ::Shivers.::

I was doing a forest run and the last monster before the sil dragon teleporter was Hildetorr. Now this was my last one before I went to bed. I was raping him good with my vulcan 0/0/0/45/50 and he dropped a red box. I should of been blessed with the irisita magic rock but nope it was a bravace. Has my life turn to waste? LOL maybe it has heheheeh.

I have a story like that, too. I was led to believe that a Purplenum Very-Hard VR Temple Love Rappy dropped a Sting Tip, which I wanted for my FOnewearl. After all the effort I put into finding a Love Rappy it winds up dropping an all-too-common L&K14 Combat. =-.-=

Its cool that they drop different things for different id, but I swear I've spent way too much time looking for a pal rappy with my pinkal for the real agito. I've seen several of them but the never drop a red box of any kind. My redria gets a red hand gun almost everytime though...

I feel sad that since I can't play online yet I have to make 3 other characters with IDs that can benefit each other but its cool though. The repetitiveness is just so damn addicting and still fun lol.

When a Hidelt finally dropped a God/Battle for me I was like... "Ohhh oh man! holy s$@% @&*!@#$" Took like 40 Ult forest runs though.

I know how you feel, last week a Gilchich dropped a red box which is supposted to be a Yas 3000, I was like HELL YEAH! but it was a photon drop. and i have a curse, whenever i kill a rare thing 2 times i get its items, then whenever after that i don't http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif... well at least with hildetorrs... grrrrr.. ive gone through 3 of em *note* they take a long time to find each time and NONE OF THEM have dropped anything good http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I love to kill them. Right now I only have two Nar Lilies in GC PSO, and two Al Rappies in DC PSO.
