I just ordered this laptop minutes ago for 600 (including shipping and tax). How'll it run PSU?

Dell Vostro 1500 (refurbished)

Intel Core 2 Duo 1400
Comes w/ Vista
120 gb HDD
2gb RAM
128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

The only case where I can't tell how it would affect gameplay is the VISTA part of it. Otherwise, I think it should be ok, but not great. It SHOULD run great, but there's no telling given how unoptimized the code is.

In short: Yes. But probably not at full setting. Might be able to get 10-15 FPS out of it at full.

C2Duo 1400: duo is the only thing saving this processor, it should pull of medium settings nicely.
Vista: Axe it and install XP Pro. You'll see a +5 to your frames per second.
120gb: Doesn't really apply; you have enough space to install, no worries.
2gb RAM: Good, makes up a bit for other shortcomings.
8400m GS: Decent card, little underpowered, but it should, again, handle medium settings.

Hope that answers your question.

Awesome, thanks. But... i should get XP Pro? ;_; But Vista looks so sexy...

EDIT:

Also, another question. How'll it look compared to running it on ps2 (which i play it on at the moment), both w/ Vista and w/ XP?

PSU should run fine on Vista, but it's true that Vista takes much more out of the computer than XP. (Compare hellgate requirements, XP - 1gb Ram, Vista - 2gb of Ram) So if you want to give PSU more power, install XP!

PS2 question: I haven't seen the PS2 version with my own eyes, but a friend of mine said the graphics sucked. I've played it on PC before and I can't say I was disappointed with the looks. Of course if you compare it with 360 which I am on now, the 360 wins.
