Since this is a finished drawing, I'll comment on it. The biggest issue is from the waste down. Her legs are a little on the thin side while the hips are a little "off." They should start spreading out right under or at the belt (the latter meaning she's wearing the shorts lower then normal.) The crotch position would make you think she's wearing the shorts low but the hips aren't really there to match (or they are just terribly small.)

Overall, nice job on anything and everything above the waste (though thicken the arms up just a little.) Keep up the good work.

Your style is distinctive, and I say run with it...

It's not that I look at the downside I just point out what's wrong. Anything that isn't commented on is generally done right and if ain't broken don't fix it. It doesn't do a lot good for an artist to get waves and waves of compliments if there is a problem (minute as some may be.)

@Mura: I'm not really good at lower bodies myself. Trouble connecting things and what not. You'll get it in time, you're years upon years ahead of my abilities.

That's true, figures look good, except canopy is missing a ring finger! O_O

Thing is there's not much to improve on from the looks of it, they've really studied the style well.
if I had to comment on anything it would be that Canopy has exagerated propartions compare to what the actual character was, but that might just be the style.

I know I suck at mecha though...so you're probably better off commissioning someone else for a mechanical CAST drawing.

@Skye_fox: I don't use photoshop actually, but I usually shade in the lighting and such first before I start drawing in the details. Doing hair is an intuitive thing for me, mostly.

Ugh. This was hard. First I had to decide on what character to use and then on which outfit to go with. ;_;

Anyway! I think..Gaz is the one with the most personality, so..I'll just go with that one. :3 Slightly evil and slightly below average length (she's not a midget!) beasts can't go wrong. Eh?

No idea which outfit to go for so..just pick the one you think is the most fun to draw and suits her the most. XD I suck at thinking.

Ah,mecha is pretty tricky to work with,I can't say you did a bad job with what was given to you. I'm pretty pleased with the doodle myself.

CASTs are expressionless voids of mechanical supremacy. It's asking someone to draw an unmoving surface with exact detail from whatever angle. It's more of a chore,I should think. Fleshie faces give you a bit more leeway and allow creativity.

This doesn't mean I didn't like what you did! In fact,I think it's pretty sweet. But,this was for Nisshoku I believe. I think it's up to him to decide.

If I did request for a character to be drawn of mine,it'dve been Victor,my hume fleshie. Having modeled his likeness after generic shojo male protagonists,I think it'd been much easier on Mura.

-Her hair is more of a natural red color ( its along the lines of a orange to red-orange, you can't quite get this in game without it turnig brown )
-A fluffy Fox tail that reaches just below her knees, with a hair band wrapped around it just before the white starts

As for the pose, a good one would be a standing one that portrays a very tomboy personality yet shy with vixen like undertones, and if you can i would like my character to be holding a Maggac (kubara version of the Tenora mechgun)

As for a description for my character it would have to be...Josephina Skye Windwalker An average hight beast standing at 5ft-6in age 27(altho looks 16), she is very direct in her speech with military like manorisums, and has an occasional tendency to say 'Yes Sir', 'Yes Ma'am' and vice versa . A tomboy like personality yet shy with unintended vixen like undertones, but she is also kind hearted and has unintentional uncaning ability to produce a pure full hearted motherly smile. She has a love for the shooting range, and team based tactical sports such as paintball, and has a strong sense of justice. Her Sec Ops background makes her excellent in combat. She is a Licensed ForteGunner.
Has no interests in relationships, and hates those who kill others for the fun of it. She often holds herself with a Military elite prowess, dispite not being from the Gurhal Star System

Oh, and since everyone added a bit of..uh..character info I guess I should say something too. I'm not a roleplayer or anything so i'm clueless about these things but.. I guess Gazzy would be your average little tomboy with a sick and twisted sense of humor. Tough on the outside but somewhat shy and thoughtful behind the scenes, so to say. Maybe this jibberish can be helpful when coming up with expressions at least.
