I'm not a retard, I know the servers are shut down. But both me and my friend have BBA's and we want to play together. Do we just connect an ethernet cable between them? Or do we have to be hooked up to the net?

You have to connect to a server. There is no LAN play.

Sadly, you're limited to multi-player mode. I mean... you know... unless you were to find a way to make your own server. It's a lot of effort for just two people to play though.

if you really want to, you can use the other method that we can't talk about but that's at your own risk. Otherwise, stick with multimode.
