Heaven's Punisher questions

I had the weapon on DC version 1...if I can recall, the beams of light only would come down during certain times during the day/night. I wonder if that's still true?

Yeah, if I remember correctly in beat time, from 100 - 200, then 300 - 400, then 500 - 600 and so forth.

I think it only works on even hundred beats, like you can use it from 200-299, 400-499, etc.

Actually, thats when it won't work.

it works when the first digit of the beat time is even.

active during: 000-099, 200-299. 400-499, 600-699. 800-899

It can't be grinded, but it wouldn't matter anyways.
Its special attack does a preset amount of damage, not affected by your ATP.
It looks very odd, slightly like a messed up playstation controller.

When you use the special, it won't hit right then. It has a slight delay. This can be very confusing when trying to shoot many shoots in a row, keeping your 3 hit combos going.

Its just like it was on the DC. Damage of course was made to be almighty in VH back then, and special attack resistance in Ultimate is higher, meaning it does barely anything there. It still works good, but nothing special.

i was finally able to equip my heaven's punisher and i really dont think it's all that great, the only part is the purple shooting lights from above but, that comes once in a very long time. So basically what i want to know is what's so good about the punisher besides the purple shooting light.

Basically, I think that's about all there is to the Heaven's Punisher. The divine punishment attack is probably the only reason why people use it. BTW, how much damage do you do in Ultimate with your Heaven's Punisher?

Well, there's Guld Milla, mechguns with 12 stars. Heaven's Punisher is 12 star...no such thing as a 13 star weapon.

How much dmg do you do with the special?

i was playing on very hard since i'm far from being level 80 i had to raise a high dex mag. my mag dex is about 90+ now with 39 def, about 30 something power and 35 mind. i also had to borrow some of my friend's god/arms. but the damage i got was around 150-200 in forest when i moved on to mines it was around 200-250. i think. i didn't get to shoot the special that much and wasn't keeping track but that is what i believe how much damaged i hit.

I was playing with this guy yesterday and he had heaven's punisher.ALL the time he stole our killz and EXP because the rays always destroyed the monsters first.I never saw him unable 2 use the special because that's all he did 24/7

alright i finally got the accurate damage that i do with punisher. it's 280 and i'm currently at level 65, but in my own opinion this gun sucks, why? well who wants to wait a 100 beats to shoot something that doesn't even kill. i usually end up having to shoot them some before they finally die. so there you have it. if anyone could prove me wrong why i'm saying this weapon sucks then do so.

To tell you the truth, the Heaven Punisher is what I used to take out ALL of the Ruins and DFalz himself in VHard..http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_beer.gif..took some time, but made things easier and time saving. I'm sure the reason why you're only doing about 280 damage is because either your ATP or your ATA isn't really very high. I do about 400-450 damage (excluding Chaos enemies, have to take them out without the special) everytime against everyone on VHard.
