I can not understand what this is asking me to do. The language is all funky, like it's been run through a translator.

Badly worded. Basically follow the instructions in this link:
http://forevergeek.com/open_source/make_firefox_faster.php

Doing the Memory is up to you, it is basically optional. The "preload sites" is also optional". If you have a bad computer or a slow one you might want to do those.

Are you sure You're not the one using a translator? It's not that hard, everything is grammatically correct, so I don't know what you mean.

I didn't see anything wrong with the instructions. Heck, all you really have to do is read the last few sentences of each set anyway.

Try going to about:config first.

Wow, this really did have an effect.

Used to take a few seconds for my comp to retrieve data from these forums. Now it's just *blink* done.

You probably won't notice a big difference if you have a lot of RAM and a fast processor.

Yeah, Typheros is right. My computer's somewhat old, so I would see such an improvement.
