Your probally asking... WTH is CaWUbS??

Its a modification of the "Can and Will Use" loot rules that have started to pop up in EQ groups.

CaWUbS = Can and Will Use by Seniority.

Basically everyone loots as normal and when identifying rares the players call out what they have found. If no one wants then its yours to sell. If one player wants, its theirs. If 2 players want the person with the highest lv gets the item.

Example.

Group
Ambrai 59
Krieek 39
Danger Girl 79
Zephyr 94

S beat arms drop, the component for the S Beat Blades.
All 4 want the item.
Zephyr is out because its a melee item.
Danger Girl gets the item due to seniority.
If another item drops, lets say Twin Brand. Danger Girl would be at the bottom of the list for loot and it goes to the next highest person that CaWU.

Of course this system is only valid amongst friends or people you play with on a regular basis. The reasoning behind this is that loot goes to those who have put the hours in and have earned it.

There are alot of variables here in relation to PSO but can be resolved by a good group.

I like these rules too. Usually when I play I get almost no loot mainly because I'm too timid about grabbing stuff but with the CaWUbS idea I could still not pick much up but still manage to get some loot at the end. What would actually be sort of cool is an FAQ with various looting schemes PSOWorld readers could use as guidelines. A scheme would probably have to cover how to deal with not just weapons, but also armor, materials and meseta (everyone says meseta is worthless but I'm alwasy running out http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif).

But seriously if we started using some scheme in Puck-09 PSOWorld games it would make me very happy http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif.

Oh, and if we start doing this it would probably be a good idea to put it in the team name to warn potential players. That way if they prefer not to use the loot rule they could find another game. For example using the team name: PSOWorld CaWUbS. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_eek.gif

I like it. That way someone dosent go selling the item i was 1 ms away from getting lol. I'd like to see it used on puck 9. (putting it in the game name would be smart)
