Will PSO on Xbox play on a 360, are the servers going to be shut down any time soon, and will I need a Hunters License to play online, or is a Xbox Live subscription all I require?

PSOX does not work on xbox360. It's not BC for whatever reason.

The US servers are still up, JP I believe already went down and EU I'm not sure (if you're in the US side then you are fine)

I searched for a PC Version of PSO, but is it from Japan only? I cant seem to find a place to buy. Also, if anyone knows if the servers for the PC version (not BB) are up..

PSOPC servers should be down as well. PSOPC came out during the dreamcast days and dreamcast servers have been gone for a LONG time. I don't think you can buy it... it should be a download.

The only servers up right now are PSOX-US and the Blueburst servers (blueburst is set to go down sometime next month I think).

If you really want to play online you either have to jump on PSOX or google up some of the illegal/private servers.

Gah. Well, since I don't have an old Xbox I guess I will have to stick with BB until the servers die.. May go onto PSU but I hear thats not very good.

Honestly, If they would make psoX work on the 360, I'd cancel my guardians license in a heartbeat. Search for a weapon for ages on end, only to have to synthesize it (which could fail) and have it be worthless because it came out with a poor %.

Same. If PSOX worked on my 360, my copy of PSU would become a coaster.The whole synthesis system (finding boards and ingredients and making the weapon), weapons having PP and PA's, and switching classes at any given time are all garbage and someone needs dumped in the desert for approving them. Give back PSO!!

How do you cancel Guardians Licence cuz Im ganna start playing the old xbox one Ive had it for such a long time just never could but Im ganna soon most likely.

Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX if you want to cancel it. Talk to one of the reps and get them to cancel it out. You can then purchase a hunter's licence when you load up PSO-X.

You NEED a gold account though so make sure you have that before you go through with it. First two months of the HL are free.

PSU has the Guardians Licence
PSO has the Hunters Licence. It's a seperate fee from XBL kinda like the Guardians licence.

To play the old Xbox 1 games online you need to have a XBL Gold account. Since the old XBL didn't recognize silver accounts, Gold accounts are the only way to get online with this game.

If you plan to just play offline then forget what I said lol. It's only if you want to jump online with PSOX and 'try' to find some people to play with.

I have month codes but it doesnt say gold or silver ow do I know?

1 Month codes are Gold. If these are codes from original xbox games, I'm not sure if they'll work.

You should be able to do 'account recovery' from the Xbox dashboard. Just plug in all your info and it should download to your xbox.

Ok now there is one more problem I read the liscence and all but everytime I try to purchase it it says like cannot continue due to an unexpected error press A to restart game.

Hmm... well that sucks. Not sure what the problem is. Maybe try again later? Another user that posted here, blizrad4545 was able to get online about a week back.

You sure your XBL subscription is gold? Other problem might be if you do or do not have a credit card attached to the subscription.

That's about as far as I can help really. Buy the hunters licence through the options menu and hopefully it should go through.

Yes, playing PSO on the original Xbox works just fine. In fact, the servers are going to be updated w/the Easter theme next month. I submitted this as news last week, I am just waiting for it to post to the home page.

I think I know what the problem is I made my account on the 360 but on the Xbox when you create your account you need the credit card it wont let me access any settings anyway Ill try making xbox account this time.

That is true but I just can't be bothered doing that quest more than once or twice. It's pretty boring. As for the C mode, sounds good.
