GC: Is there a alternative keybord besides the AscII keyboar

Is there a keyboard ofr hte gamecube besides ASCII? thier keyboard cost 100.00+ on ebay!. Can anyone link me to a site where the keyboards are good priced? Thanks.

i don't think there is.. but some really cool dude made a thing that hooks a normal keyboard up to the gc.. thats all ive heard
