A little over a year ago. I posted a topic close to this, sarcastically "thanking" the collective hackers, sharkers, etc for killing PSO. It was straight up flamed and bashed, and with a bit of reason, I see why now. At the time I was angry at a favoured past-time being defiled and cheated.. and being drunk off my rocker didn't help things either http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif;

So in response and in retrospect, with the BB servers coming down in a month's time, I'd like to say the following:

Thank you Zmoothette, SamiA, Monkeykai, and many others I've come across in DCPSO's free time: Thank you for the wonderful memories. The DC PSO we know is gone, but not forgotten.

Thank you collectively to the Star Protectorate, You know who you are http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
But special mention needs to be spoken of Riese. She kept PSO and PSU active and running in the last year when we felt ST abandoned us, and left us to the wayside. (Come on, we were left with a demo for months before ST threw us a bone)

And collectively.. To every hunter on PSO who refused to cheat and defile that which brought so many of us together. PSO will soon be a memory, but you will not be forgotten.

As I've said before.. flamers , leave your refuse at the door. I've seen the worst of human greed, avarice and selfishness. Whatever you have to throw at me will bounce off like so much chaff.

O_o, this was not expected.
well i once tried to cheat on ver.2, but due to lack of effort i finnaly gave up and went the legit way, this was probably the best option i made in pso.
as for now i still play the game, it it not forgoten or a memory at all, it's the present.

on the private server 90 % are blueburters, gc is basicly dead even at those places.
as for ver.2 i remembered to see many new pso pc users, maybe for nostalgia or some sort, as for ver.2 dreamcast i don't see them anymore (but they exist)

when dreamcast servers were getting ready to be shutdown, the population increased drasticly online.
so considering dc ver.1 players offline+ ver.2 dreamcast and pc players offline+ gc players offline+ pso bb online players then it's a hell lot more then 50

Been there, done that. Gave PSU a good 6+ months and the expansion didn't really add much to the experience. PSU collects dust now along with those other games that I rarely touch.

tried 10 minutes, gave up instantly.........i tought online it would be beter, but i hate pay to play.

I tried PSU once. It did not entertain me and give me the want to play like PSO does.

That, and I have heard so many more things about it from my friends who do play that drives me further away.

Sorry if you are a diehard PSU fan, but I'm sticking to what I like. And I like PSO.
