New keyboards annoy me.

Why does every keyboard have to be different? Can't tghere just be some jgeneryic model that everyone follows? It's realy diffivult trying to type on a keyboard that's really different than the one you're used to. I mean you use a keyboard for years, then all the sudden, you get this keybaord that's completely different, ane iu rhowis upi orr xompleteky,

Some of the cheaper keyboards I'm sure are essentially all the same (you know, the $10-20 ones with no bonus features).
For other keyboards, best chance is to find a style you like and hope you can always get the same one whenever your current one dies.

Some keyboards are designed for special uses, such as either gaming or maximum comfort, so the intended use may require different design.
