Question about item merge...

Anybody know if the final item of a weapon + rock/amp/gene is more powerful if you use the most powerful version of that type of weapon (ie : Club/Calibur/Diska + moola/irista/flou).

The final weapon will always be the same with the exception of percentages. For example: if the original weapon had 25% Native, the forged weapon will also have 25% Native.

Armor will always be the same as well, as forged armor comes with base stats. The same armor found somewhere in the game may or may not come with bonus stats.
