Astrology has always been a topic that's interested me. I know it's not always accurate (hell, I have my doubts of its authenticity), but it's still neat to read up on it and see if anything fits. Are any of you interested in it? And what similarities or differences do you share with your sign?

Here are my thoughts on the main qualities of a Libra:

Diplomatic and urbane

Ever since I was really young, I've hated conflict and confrontation. I do all I can to prevent it, and I only take social risks when they're necessary. Many of my friends and family come to me with their problems because I always have a solution that's best for everyone.

Romantic and charming

Just like people come to me for friendly advice, I also get a lot of romantic questions from people in my life, and I know a lot about whatever, even if I've never been in the situation myself. I've a lot of empathy and understanding for people. In retrospect I'm very charming by just being myself, and I know what it takes to make / keep people happy.

Easygoing and sociable

I can't stand it when people act like they offended me because, in most cases, they weren't even close. I'm very understanding and don't judge people, and that keeps me very down to earth and loose. As for me being sociable, somewhat. I'm very friendly, but it's more so because I make myself talk when someone talks to me. When I'm comfortable with someone, I've very open and myself, which is very talkative.

Idealistic and peaceable

Now for the negatives:

Indecisive and changeable

OK, this is very true. XD I always go off about how particular I am, but the reason I am is because I avoid making decisions and play it safe. I fear making mistakes, so it takes a lot of thought before I'm ready to do something. In relation I can change my mind a lot; though most things get written in stone after a while.

Gullible and easily infuenced

I don't know how true this is. I mean, individuality has become pretty important to me recently, and I've found I'm very stubborn about having my way. This includes being as different or as similar to someone to get what I want, even if people don't like it. Kind of contradictory to my hate for conflict, but oh well. I do see myself buying something because a celeb I liked endorsed it, and I guess I'm pretty gullible now that I think about it. >_>

Flirtatious and self-indulgent

Yes and HELL YES. I'm a flirty person. In fact, many guys have felt I was leading them on, and I never intended to. I don't get along with many girls because of it. I've gotten myself in trouble because of it. I can control it mostly, but it is one of my faults... Self-indulgent. Oh my. By far, it's prolly my largest fault. If I find a song I like, I put it on repeat; 'nuff said.

Okay, I'm a Libra. According to Wikipedia, I'm supposed to be cooperative, diplomatic, graceful, and romantic. Also, it says faults that Libras are supposed to have. Based on that, I'm supposed to be unable to say "no," I am quarrelsome, and I'm flirtatious. Strange that Libra is supposed to be both diplomatic and quarrelsome.

Anyway, the only parts of that description that match me are the cooperative, diplomatic, and graceful ones. All of the rest of it doesn't apply to me in the slightest.

And according to Astrology online these are the traits of a Sorpio:

Determined and forceful (Nope, I'm a very passive person, I'm somewhat manipulative, but in a very subtle way)

Jealous and resentful (Nope, I let things go really easily, for me each day is a clean slate)
Compulsive and obsessive (This is kinda true, I have to go through the exact same proccesses every morning of 5:00AM Alarm, 6:00AM alarm, 6:30Am Alarm, shower between 6:31 and 6:45AM, or else I just feel off the whole day)
Secretive and obstinate (I'm a bit secretive, but nothing major)

So it's maybe at most half right about me.

Go to http://www.astro.com/horoscopes/ahor.asp and select 'Chart drawing, ascendant' down at the bottom of the righthand column. It'll prompt you to put in some information. You'll need your date of birth, time of birth and your city of birth. If you don't know your time of birth you won't be able to find out your ascendant sign and house layout, but you'll still be able to get your moon sign. (Ascendant is more of a 'what other people see' thing, from my understanding of it, btw.) Though note that something that's right on a 'cusp', where the signs change, it may actually be in one sign or another depending on when you were born. :3 The basic one doesn't include stuff like the asteroids or Lilith that some people use, there's a more advanced one you can use to include those if you really want. You probably honestly don't even really care where, say, your Saturn is unless you're really into it, rofl.
