although i am quite late on this subject, how do you do the trick where you can get what mag cell you want out of the present

save
put stuff you dont want to lose in the bank *except present* open it and if its not what you want hit th reset button and retry

Don't just press reset...

Use the soft-reset:
press and hold together (X+B+Start)

this has been addressed way too many times... will you please use the search function on the site for thr forums. I, myself, has answered the same questions at least 5 times on different threads/posts.

And it doesn't matter if you reset or soft reset, the outcome is the same.

And no... the game only saves when you quit when you are offline. Online it saves everytime you talk to a shop, goto the bank, get a guild card.. etc...
