If you haven't been playing since version 1 of psu this might sound less important. Please do not write comments such as "stop wining" etc.. This is fact analysis, and I'm comming to conclusions that I do not apreciate.
If a spammer or someone that will diss this topic acts, I'd like the moderators to eliminate the post from the thread, as it is very serious.

I've been thinking about all these update contents being delayed, slow updating, rollbacks etc... And I'm more than furious, I'm disgusted. Already the game in itself was always delayed from the original japanese updates (and yes we did get the game 2 months after japan in europe,

I'm starting to not like this behaviour that game companies are taking). So basically we're lagged off. Apart from the the game seemed to go well for a while until recently where we start getting bugs glitches, and even roll backs ALL IN A ROW. The occasional delayed update had already happened before but it was corrected the week after and added with more content. This time AoI seems to be taking a great hit, as we keep on getting delayed towards what the japanese program was.

The first "accident" was the rare mob drop rate checking mission. I thought at that time "they actually forgot to take that away from the server for the update? that's a first in a whole year, strange..." and ofcourse that horrid rollback, who knows how many rare boards were lost in that rollback, I know many players dropped things that day and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

As we went on more content happened to be glitched or bugs kept on comming, delaying casino items, missions and causig more stress for the players. Furthermore what was more troubling was those glitched items that were supposed to be pm food, I think they're the rolls (never used them so not sure) that erased everything a player had done. And ofcourse... rollback.

I am astonished as how unprecise sega is conducting its verifications towards the new content. Not only does it make it hard for us players, but also for the game moderators who then have to try to explain giving (probably) fake explanations as it was someone in the team doing it badly and trying to cover it up, or not wanting to admit that the verification hadn't even taking place or just to a detailed test. MAG, aka Maximum attack G, also has been delayed by over a month now.

And, wait, now we get some might not happen comment? I'm seriously getting bored of this. SEGA is making PSU look like some glitched unplayable game and making everyone lose interest. But then I thought, hey! maybe that's what they want!?! Is sega trying to make everyone quit so they can close it and keep only the japanese servers open (yes they sound like they have a god complex, wanting their own server, who do they think they are? Stuck in their rooms all day probably doing that I'm not comming out of my room for years thing and not helping the world's problems.. )

I'm complaining here about the whole system of the game, and how badly it is being deployed. I love psu, as in, the idea of the game, how the story develops, etc.. but these technical problems are just not helping. If you've had the heart to read through all this please comment apropriate thoughts. Thank you for reading.

I'd like some intelligent comments if possible.

tl;dr

This has been debated a million times and it boils down to the same shit each time: people saying how much Sega sucks and people saying they aren't so bad. No, it's not some stupid conspiracy to shut down the US servers, they could axe us if they wanted to at any point. They are a huge corporation, they can axe anything they goddamn want.

And there has been no MAG delay considering it's never even seen an official date yet. WE made up the time it was "supposed" to happen. I think along the way we get lost in what dates Sega has given us and what dates we give ourselves.

What I'm debating here is the lack of interest is the US servers from that oh-so-big society that sega is.

Yea, I was reading that thread on the Official forums. The way I see it, SEGA is TRYING to fix the mistakes that are being made, as far as the part about us getting updates and such 2 months after JP does, I think that could potentially be a good thing, it may give SEGA time to sort out the bugs from those updates before we get the update.

Quoted for fucking truth.

Most of the bitching that goes on in here is based on ignorance. Sure, i know its hard to understand being a player of the game, but most of the people doing the bitching have ZERO idea of what the fuck these people go through when it comes to maintaining a game (and a buisness at that) when the people you take orders from live a couple thousand miles away and dont even speak your fucking language.

Get busy playing or get busy quitting. But nobody wants to hear your bitching inbetween the decision.

You're touching onto something which I didn't mention, as you're basically saying that I'm accusing sega of not doing what I'm expecting them to do. WRONG. Each time we got announced that we'd get an update with this content on this day (usually a few days before). And yet we get these glitches and they delay. Do they not verify before announcing? That's what making me rly anoyed, that they anounce things yet they don't even know if they're capable to add them? Its irresponsibility I'd say.

Forums are made for bitching, or voicing displeasure, whatever you call it.

And stop trying to stick up Sega. It doesn't take a genius to realize that they're royally fucking up.

Indeed you do have a point there. As usual no one takes it seriously.

Let's just end this with these two statements and prevent this from turning into what every other Sega debate turns into.

Not saying your intentions were bad, OP, but none of these debates end any differently.
