Fog on PSOBB

What's the differences between the settings? They're in the advanced graphics menu, and I don't really understand the differences.
Vertex Fog.
Pixel Fog.
Emulation Fog.

It's how the fog is rendered by your graphics card. It will show slight differences in how it looks and possibly increase your frame rate if you your computer isn't that great.
