does anyone know what the max grind on a saber is? or a mechgun? or any standard weapon?

Scroll down to where it says Weapons: Photon Weapons. and click the one you are interested in.

Personally, I'd suggest against grinding any normal weapon unless it is to be used for a combination, save the grinders for better weapons.

I agree with Ketchup. Grinding a common weapon is useless unless you intend to synth it with an item to make it a new weapon.
