Is my sig too big?

Yes, it is over six times the maximum file size.

Try to keep your signature image under 35,000 bytes.

I assumed the file size limit was if you were hosting the image on PSOWorld, but it's on image shack and i've linked it here, I was mostly talking about the dimensions, I could compress it and make it a bit smaller though

The 35000 byte limit is the cumulative size for all images in a signature, regardless of their place of origin.

The dimensions are fine, just try to compress it a bit more.

changed the dimensions a bit and got it down to 38.38 kB (39297 bytes), i've noticed a few sigs that go slightly over the limit so it should be fine?

Thanks.

There are probably a few sigs over 35000 byte limit. Whenever one is noticed, it is removed.

Go to "My Account" and hit "Edit Profile". There is a box there, aptly titled "Signature", where you insert the image link.

So do i have to have an online image library to link it from?

Yep, you have to have the image hosted by a site like photobucket or the like.

Don't forget that if you are going to make it an image sig, add and on either end of the url.
