Hey guys,

Just updated to Kaspersky 7 and now with it running not only does PSU refuse to run, but will lag out the computer until i either reset it, or quit kaspersky.

Even on a quad core with 4gb of ram this still happens (I only just figured out it was KIS7...)

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm relieved to know i can still play whilst it's shut down but would rather get a fix for it if i can...Perhaps a firewall rule?

Any help appreciated. Running Vista Prem SP1.

Kaspersky has multiple signature types.
What type of signatures are you using?

Any warnings from KIS?
I'm using KAV 7.x with PSU on XP.

Game Guard appears as a 'virus' to some anti-virus software. "locking or making memory un'readable" is considered viral activity to some developers.

Before you roll back your Kaspersky.

1.check your internet connection, sometimes PSU holds over because GG cannot connect to the internet.
-check if PSU runs
2.restart your computer, universal remedie
-check if PSU runs
3.Try updating your directX to 9.0c or better
-check if PSU runs
4.reinstall PSU

5.roll back your anti-virus software

Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Game Guard do NOT have any explicit issues.
Additional information is needed.

I don't want to restart my PSU session, but I don't think GameGuard is loaded up until you select a game mode.
