It's been up six years to the day. Isn't that the longest a PSO game has been online?

I won't be able to play PSOX for the last time anyway. Since MS will not allow free play on the Xbox version for the last month, this effectively ends my PSO career.

(I bet PSOX JP has been also stuck on Christmas for two-three years)

Some one at Microsoft must have been rummaging around in the basement and spotted the servers tucked away in the corner and thought "Holy crap, those things are still running, we better fix that." I was very shocked to recieve the word from Jaspaller then read it on Xbox.com and knew it was true.

Sorry, I canceled like two weeks ago and this news of me not being able to play for the last month sucks... but it's time for you to just buy an Xbox 360 and PSU already, Kevlar.

I have PSU-X. Have had it for about four or five months now. Just need a 360. I wanna say that when we get our economic stimulus check from Uncle Sam this Spring or Early Summer is when I will finally get a 360. I forget how much it will be but with myself, my wife and two kids we will get a decent check.

I have heard that not long after the end of the month you could still play PSO-X online if you really wanted to.

This is very sad. I for one never managed to get online for PSOX. I own the game but not an old xbox. Seeing as I played every other version of the game online it's an even more sad day for me.
