now I was sitting at the river talking to a good friend of mine. he keeps up with ign news wuite a bit (maybe tooooo much) and we start talking about MMOs and he sais " I think an online oblivion would be the greatest MMO ever made" so naturally I go into a rant about pso and how it would clearly be better than oblvion. then I tell him about the servers closing..and anyway

MY POINT IS- he sais that he read on ign that the dreamcast servers are coming back up! I keep telling him there is no way that is happening, but he sems convinced! so I thought id ask pso-world if this is true...im sure its not but ive been wrong before.

If your talking strickly official servers than you are right. They are down and won't be back up. There are still ways to unofficially get on. JPBB is the only official server left.

the official one was free......when i went online i didn't need no hunters lincece or anything, i went and played, plain and simple.

after a while it became free, but only to eu and us i beleive, on japan ppl would still have to pay for them.
but even when i saw the new that it was free i already had played so i was like "is this new outdated?"

i played for free, trust me, no hunters licence.

oh the private servers are up for every consol that got officialy shut down.
and plus, the private server are still no different than the once official ones. only less people and lesser events.

depends on what sever you go to really.
