Man, no matter how many runs I do in forest, I never ever find a hildetorr. My brother(lucky bastard) manage to find one, to bad it just gave him a Freeze barrier(heh).

Is there something I can do to find one easier?

If you still have the Forest of Sorrow mission, you can try runs with that and quit the mission before you finish. If that doesn't work, dunno what to say. Keep trying.

Is there a higher chance on that quest or just more hildebears?

More Hildes.

And that equals a better chance.

Ok just wondering why haven't I seen any rare monsters yet? I have beaten EP.1 on normal and hard and am working on very hard and have beaten EP.2 on normal and I haven't seen any.

probably just very very bad luck. If im not wrong, the rare monster chance is 1/512 (correct me if im wrong please) so you just need to keep playing. In a way, your kinda lucky since a normal rare is a kick in the gut (really crappy drop).

I've seen plenty of Hildes in FoS, so yeah as they say, just keep going and the best of luck to you.

Just keep searching, I personally have only seen one hildetorr in all my hours of playing and he got me with megid at the last moment, and its been a long time since I've seen any rare creatures. It's the way the game goes, sometime you get them, sometimes you don't.

That is the only rare enemy I have never managed to run into yet in all my years of playing!
As of now it would be a great honor in defeating one. THEN I would finaly have the record of beating down every enemy in the game. ^_^

^Wow, I'm amazed you saw one of them before seeing holiday rappies, love rappies, etc. Nice.

Also, if you're online you could play the quest strange sighting. Although in a way that's cheating, because there's automatically 1 hildetorr/blue depending on what mode you're playing, plus a LOT of hildelts, which could possibly end up ANOTHER hildetorr.

well it's gonna be cheating anyway ryan, cause if your online your not gonna be exactly following the rules now are we.

^ Alright first off, WHAT? I really can't understand what the heck you're trying to say.
And a bunch of people play online, so it's not really cheating. I'm just giving him another option to use.

Ryan, Just because a bunch of people do it, does it make it okay? It's like saying, well a bunch of other people were smoking pot, so it's fine.

What I'm saying is that.....here......http://www.freewebs.com/azurepsotexts/legitimacy.htm
Read it and hopefully you will understand.

On Topic: Don't telepipe, it will ruin your GC or whatever you play on. Just play alot of the Forrest of sorrow quest. Alot.
